Arapaima Gigas in fish pond

Arapaima, pirarucu, or paiche (Arapaima gigas) is the largest freshwater fish species in the world originating from the waters of the tropics of South America. Arapaima fish can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh 200 kilograms. Currently, it is very rare to find arapaima measuring more than 2 meters because this fish is often caught for consumption by the population or exported to other countries.
