Time to shellebrate #NationalLobsterDay! We have one spiny lobster that calls the Tropical Reef Aquarium home. In the wild, spiny lobsters live in tropical and subtropical waters of the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico. Spiny lobsters get their name from the forward-pointing spines that cover their bodies to help protect them from predators. They also stay in coral reefs and other hard-bottomed areas.
