Face To Face With The Most Venomous Snake In Costa Rica | @Mike Tytula Takes a Bullet in The Jungle!

Costa Rica is home to some of the most biodiverse rainforest in the world. My good friends @Reptiliatus @Mike Tytula and I traveled to Costa Rica to hike through the Caribbean side, Cloud Forest and Pacific side of Costa Rica looking for some of the most amazing reptiles and amphibians in the world. Wild Venomous Snakes like the Fer De Lance, Palm Pit Vipers, Eyelash Vipers and so many more. Being face to face with a venomous snake like the Yellow Eyelash Viper was one of the most incredible experiences of my whole life! The ability to be as close as we were to Velvet worms and whip scorpions, Squirrel Monkeys and even a Tapir and an Ocelot was a dream come true. Being able to find a Fringed Leaf Frog, sometimes called a Tiger Legged Tree Frog was something I never thought I would ever get the opportunity to do. Finding Wild Poison Dart Frogs was a highlight I will not soon forget as keeping them in captivity, although fascinating, can never compare to stumbling over these poisonous amphibians in their natural environment. Herping the rainforest in Costa Rica will always be special but to find animals I had never heard of like the Hognose Pit Viper, False Coral Snake and many others was eye opening. The difference between the lowland forests and the Cloud Forests and experiencing the massive change in environment was a life changing experience that helped me really and truly understand what the difference in elevation really means in the wild to these amazing animals and tropical plants.
