Why were these hens eggs all rotten?
I had a fantastic idea but had to take this hen off of her eggs that she had been sitting on for months now and none have hatched. When taking her off her eggs she flew out and was warmly accepted into her new flock and is doing great. I tested her old eggs against a tree to see if they would explode and sure enough they did because they were so old and rotten. I'm happy I took that hen off of her eggs.
