Houston Zoo 2023 - NEW Galápagos Islands Full Walkthrough

Houston Zoo unveiled its Galápagos Islands exhibit in April 2023 and I had to go check it out as it's one of several new marine mammal habitats opening this year! Be sure to stay tuned to be among the first to see more new marine mammal shows and exhibits coming out this year!
This is not only a new and improved California sea lion habitat but also home to new animals for the zoo such as Humboldt penguins. Together, these animals represent the incredible and diverse terrestrial and marine life from the Galápagos Islands in the first zoo exhibit based on the Galápagos Islands! See below for highlights:

6:15 - The infamous jellyfish vs. plastic bag in the ocean comparisons with a sea nettle exhibit
7:22 - Looking into the One Ocean aquarium (I know), spot the green sea turtle, cownose rays, blacktip reef sharks, and bonnethead sharks!
