Coral Spawning 2023 on the Great Barrier Reef is underway, with corals on Yunbenun, Magnetic Island, releasing eggs over the last two nights!
No matter how many times you see it, this phenomenon is mind-blowing - natural reef replenishment in action. Given all the threats facing the Great Barrier Reef, it is so good to see these millions of eggs going out to start the next generation of corals.
