This is a story of deception, lazy literature reviews and blatant manipulation of statistics by animal rights. There are two stats being recycled in literature right now, 75% mortality rate within the first year in the home of reptiles, and a 70% industry standard mortality rate in the reptile trade. I have seen these used repeatedly, and today we are going to investigate these figures. What I found is shocking.
