In this short Dave and Jeremy spend some time in California and video nature in action as they witness a California striped racer, which resembles a garter snake, eating a western fence lizard while hiking in SoCal! Be sure to check out some of our other videos about the reptiles of California and if you like predation videos, you'll definitely like our California king vs. patch nose snake episode. We have been very fortunate to have seen quite a few snake eating predation events during our hikes in the desert, including a California king vs. king, but this is our first time observing a snake eating a lizard!
