In this video I Trim up some dwarf baby tears or hemianthus callitrichoides "cuba". This is one of the more difficult carpetting plants due to its small size. It typically requires CO2 and more importantly a strong light and nutrient rich substrate. To keep its dense and small growth it requires frequent trimming. This allows it to stay nice and compact but also small.
Its a plant I definitely recommend beginners to avoid due to its difficult nature. If you want some easier carpetting plants I would try marsilea hirsuta, Staurogyne repens, or pygmy chain sword.
If you like the look of this better than those I would recommend starting with its cousin micranthemum monte carlo. This has a very similar look but much easier due to its larger leaves.
