My family just came back from a 15 days Japan trip, yes, again (someone in my family LOVES Japan, and I don't blame her!) The tank was on auto-pilot the entire trip and I was bracing myself for potential tank crash, as that was what happened during my last two extended trips, also to Japan.

A little about the trip for those who may be interested. While we spent quite a few days in Tokyo, we also rented a car from TBC Car Rental in Tokyo, and did a week-long road trip from Tokyo, to Nagoya, to Osaka. I was bracing myself for driving in the snow, thankfully no snow ever come in the end of December. Having driven the mountain region of Nagoya this trip, there is no way I would want to drive with snow in the mountain there.

A bit about the dolphins and whales shown in this video as I think it is important: During the trip between Nagoya and Osaka, we visited a Whale Museum in Taiji that offers dolphin & whale feeding, thinking it would be a great experience for the whole family... and it was. The animals seemed happy, the staffs were kind, and it was a nice, small scale operation. There were certain things that were a bit odd, for example, the posters and figures depicting whale hunting (which at the time made sense, since Taiji used to be a whaling village), harpoons right by the dolphin show area, large vessel on drydock with "RESEARCH" printed on the side, just like the ships I have seen on Whale War many years ago... etc. It was not until we got home and I started doing research for this video that I discovered we have visited the infamous town featured in the documentary "The Cove." Yikes! Although in hindsight, I was glad that we got to see first-hand what it was like with boots on the ground, and we get to draw our own conclusion.

Aside from the chance encounter with Taiji, we visited multiple Pokemon Centers (the pack hoarding situation is not as bad in Japan compared to the US), we paid our respect to Mount Fuji, we soaked in Osens, we shopped, and as expected we had a lot of super delicious food!

With all that said, it was a beautiful trip and we can't wait to go back again!

Oh and yes, I am glad the tank survived relatively unscathed this trip!
