Hello Dr Novak. Just wanted to mention I am using a BCB in my temp. indoor “plastic storage tote” set up with x4 what used to be 4” tosai koi. They are triple the size and mass if not x4 size now. I am putting finishing touches on my garden pond now albeit getting late up here in Canada. My experience with the BCB is magic and obviously working like a charm with my weekly water changes with these koi in only 250 litres of water. They are thriving but I do need to get them out to the pond. My question is in a smaller closed system with no parasitic issues they are great. Do I need to be concerned with the BCB’s harbouring the likes of Costia, flukes etc. ? I have studied your work and with Manky Sanke as well. Thanks for your sharing of information.
