I actually enjoy doing water changes and I do them for many reasons, not just to lower nitrates. So water change day isn't entirely cancelled. However, I've recently changed my thinking and added a big dose of common sense into my water change routine. In this video I share with you some tips that I use, prior to doing water changes, that helps me to determine if a water change is even needed. It has saved me time, money and been a lot less stressful on the fish.
