While this cave may be spooky and dangerous for us humans, it’s heaven for a Mexican free-tailed bat! Bracken Cave, located just outside of San Antonio, Texas, is the home to the largest colony of bats in the world. With over 15 million Mexican free-tailed bats calling this cave their summer home, it’s not only the largest known concentration of bats, but the largest known concentration of mammals on earth!
