Reptiles are so much fun to handle and this is why a lot of us choose a snake or a lizard as a pet. We want to hangout withy an easy going, easy handling reptile while we sit down and game or watch TV or even at work. If you don't want your new scale baby running away from you as you try to relax try an African Fat-tailed Gecko. Similar enough to a Leopard Gecko and just as easy to handle. These amazing eyelid having geckos are easy to care for and they will just sit on your shoulder for hours without worry. these are small and fragile lizards though so be careful when moving about and always be conscious of them and where they are. Looking for a larger lizard, like a lot bigger? Argentine Black and White Tegus are the kings of cool when it comes to great big lizard pets! Tegus are super tame or at least can be and these giant lizards although needing lots of space will take up more room in your heart than they will in your home. Tegu lizards are super fun to handle and they will sit in your lap for hours just chillin', hanging out and watching movies with you. Maybe you want a chill snake, a snake that handles easily and gives a great big hug? Dumerils boas are a great size snake with an easy going attitude and they feel like a weighted blanket on you with their big and heavy bodies. A smaller snake option would be the ever popular Ball Python or Royal Python. These medium sized Python snakes are the kings of chill and will just sit in place like a rock for hours if you let them. But we can't talk about easy reptiles without touching on the Bearded Dragon. Beardies are the best hangout reptiles ever and such amazing captives!
