Quarantining alone isn’t enough to address parasites, but combining quarantine with treatment can make a big difference. We recommend holding new fish in quarantine for at least two weeks while treating them for potential parasites. While two weeks is generally enough to handle most common parasites, there’s no strict maximum—fish can stay in quarantine as long as needed to ensure they're fully treated and healthy before joining the main tank.
