A little birdie told us we have another keeper team feature for #NationalZookeeperWeek!
In celebration of the people who are the heartbeat of the Phoenix Zoo, we are showcasing a different keeper team each day! Today, we are showcasing our Birds team.
The Birds team cares for nearly 400 individuals and over 100 species throughout the Zoo grounds! They have the unique ability to enter the habitats to interact, feed and socialize with their animals while providing the best care possible!
If you see a keeper on your next visit to the Zoo, make sure you let them know how amazing they are!
