So you need to frag mushroom corals while they still in the tank?
In an ideal world take the rock out and just chip away at the rock to remove the area of rock that the mushroom is attached to and you are done BUT.... DO NOT do this while the rock that the mushroom is attached to is still in the tank as the last thing you want to do is cause a crack in the base of your tank from the force or vibration from chipping, chiselling and hitting the rock.
This video will show you a quick and easy way to frag the mushroom, from the tank leaving its foot in tack with minimal damage allowing it to latch back onto a rock of your choice over a few days to a week. The video also includes a little tip at the end to help speed up the process of getting the mushrooms foot attached to the new rock of your choice and quicker!
