Check it out! These sloths are so cool aren't they? Sloths are medium sized mammals native to central and South America that are renown for their slow movement and lifestyle. These animals are heavily folivorous, meaning they feed primarily on leaves. The brown throated three toed sloth is a commonly encountered sloth species in Costa Rica and can be seen slowly moving through the trees when they're not sleeping. Additional sloth footage used was filmed at the Dallas World Aquarium. Do you like sloths? Let me know in the comments!
