When visitors encounter our Vietnamese Mossy Frog exhibit in the River Journey building, they're challenged to see how many of its expertly camouflaged residents they can find. Recently, however, our army of these Southeast Asian frogs has become so numerous that spotting them isn't exactly challenging.
They're EVERYWHERE, from recently hatched tadpoles and froglets to full-blown, bumpy-skinned adults. Soon, we'll be sending many of these frogs to other animal care institutions, but in the meantime, the exhibit is absolutely bustling with these fascinating amphibians!
