New exotic yellow mosaic guppies just arrived for my
planted guppy paradise!
In this short, I unbox them, float the bag to let them
adjust, carefully match the tank temperature, and then
gently release them into a calm, planted aquarium to
explore their new home.
This is a simple low-tech tank: no filter, no air pump, and
no CO2 system - just a heater, live plants, and regular
maintenance. Floating Salvinia on the surface helps:
• Soften and diffuse the light so the guppies feel safer
and less stressed.
• Absorb excess nutrients to keep the water more stable
and clear.
• Create a natural look with plenty of cover for the fish
to explore and hide in.
