LEAF-TAILED GECKOS (UROPLATUS) IN THE WILD! (Are we keeping them correctly?)

Of all the reptiles and amphibians of Madagascar, one particular gecko stands out in the crowd, the leaf-tailed geckos of the genus Uroplatus. And throughout the remaining rainforests of Madagascar, these amazing geckos are some of the most unique lizards of earth with tails that mimic dead leaves, and special camouflage that allow them to virtually disappear in plain sight. These lizards are increasingly popular amongst keepers all over the world, but how much do we really know about how they are living in the wild?
