Our eyes saw a black-backed jackal scrubbing in the dust and rubbing himself against the bushes like its the best feeling. Making itself at home as he marks his territory.

The black-backed jackal lives singly or in pairs. They are among the few mammalian species where the male and female mate for life. Mated pairs are territorial, and both the female and male mark and defend their territory.
