We added some new coconuts with aquarium plants roots inside - Fish investigating October 2024

Relax watching the fish explore the new coconuts and the new secret routes around the coconuts so they can hide that can run nd they can play games of hide-and-seek

The reason we put the aquarium plants inside a hollow coconut is so that we can attach a bag of black potting soil with fertiliser to help grow big leaves. By putting so many plants in the aquarium we can get the plants to eat the nitrates that the fish leave behind.

This makes a very eco-friendly tank where we hardly have to change the water and it stays crystal clear by natural means.
