● Description of the video ●
In this video we will share with you interesting knowledge about frogs and toads. Frogs are very funny and interesting creatures, not always pleasant to look at. In comparison with many amphibians, frogs can be called long-lived, some species of frogs can live up to thirty years. Of course, the duration of their life directly depends on their habitat and species. The coloration of frogs, as with many animals, is a means of protection, frogs with bright colors are mostly very poisonous and their animals are bypassed, and frogs with dull, green or brown color blend perfectly with the environment and become almost invisible to predators. Currently, there are more than four thousand species of frogs, every year their number increases, as scientists discover new species. In fact, not all frogs croak, in most species only males make croaking sounds in order to designate their territory for others and attract a female to themselves. Frogs have about thirty stages of development, after frogs lay eggs (the number of eggs laid depends directly on the type of frog and can vary from 20 to 50,000 thousand at a time), they incubate from 48 hours to 23 days. A tadpole hatches from a frog's eggs, it has no legs and it does not look like a frog at all, rather it looks like a small fish. Over time, this creature grows legs, gills and tail disappear and they become familiar to us frogs. Eyes serve frogs not only for visual function, eyes also help frogs to push food into the stomach. Frogs shed their skin, after which they can eat it, in order to restore their strength with the preserved nutrients in the old skin, some species shed their skin every day. Frogs are considered to be amphibians with smooth skin living near water or in water, and toads are amphibians with dry rough skin that mainly live on land. Paedophryne amauensis is the smallest frog in the world, its maximum length is eight mm. The largest frog on the planet, the Goliath frog has become, without taking into account the hind legs, the maximum length of its body is 32 cm, and the weight can be more than 3 kg. The croaking of frogs has a positive effect on people by adjusting the harmonic amplitude (GA) of the brain encephalogram. Namely, it helps to relieve subconscious tension, which in the past was caused by strong hostility or pain, after which there is an improvement in the functioning of the central nervous system and the overall health of the body as a whole.
