Here's one of my 10 gallon tanks that is dominated by java moss. Java moss is an easy aquarium plant that can grow rapidly with no effort. This tank has a modest Aquaneat led light, I haven't added any fertilizer in a very long time, and never added any co2, yet the java moss growth still exploded. It works well in this aquarium with platies, guppies, and endlers as it provides cover for fry.
