This morning at sunrise, I had an incredible encounter on Phra Nang Beach in Thailand. The beach was completely empty, just me and a massive monitor lizard, a cousin of the famous Komodo dragon. These reptiles are fascinating to watch up close, moving slowly and with such power. It felt surreal to be alone on the beach with this creature as the sun came up, highlighting the peaceful, untouched beauty of nature.
