Glass Tetra Fish

The Glass Tetra (scientifically known as Moenkhausia pittieri) is a small, calm, and well-liked freshwater fish species that is a member of the Characidae family as of my most recent update in September 2021. Other names for it include Glass Bloodfin Tetra and Glass Blood Tetra.

Behavior:

Glass Tetras are peaceful and social fish that prefer to be kept in groups of at least six individuals. A larger group creates a more natural and less stressed environment for them.

The Glass Tetra is not particularly demanding when it comes to water parameters, but it is essential to provide them with a stable and clean environment.
