Here are a few of my Northern glass or Fleischmann's glass frogs (Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni). Glass frogs are amazing little amphibians! These beautiful frogs get their common name due to the transparency of their skin. Although this varies between species (there are several different kinds of glass frog), some glass frogs are so see through you can actually see their bones, and organs! Checkout all the little frog hearts beating! This trait helps them blend into their surroundings incredibly well. Imagine a see-through frog sleeping on a leaf… You’d have a hard time spotting it! ????????????✨!
