Mangrove Snake Bite Verses Hornet Sting, 1st 24 Hours. Part 1.

I allowed a Mangrove snake to chew on my arm to see what would happen, bite was 2-2.5 minutes with active chewing at 11:20 am. I fully allowed the snake to
Chew on me to facilitate the saliva/venom into my arm. I have not seen much documented about bites from this species and wanted to learn more Initially, I noted the superficial bite seemed to Bleed more freely than normal before clotting. Within 20 minutes I could feel a tingle but nothing more, over the next few hours it locally swelled. Eventually, my arm around elbow swelled a great deal, was hot and a dull ache. Pain managed the next day with Tylenol. Video Notes - roughly my reaction over a 24 hour period. I am allergic to Yellow jackets and bald faced hornets. In the past I’ve swelled up to a similar degree from their sting. Is it worse ? Time will tell, I’m noting this process.
