What's Changing in my Saltwater Paludarium

In this episode of my saltwater paludarium journey, I dive into a puzzling coral issue that's been challenging me for weeks. While the macroalgae, mangroves, and fish are thriving, my Acanthastrea corals suddenly closed up. After thorough water testing, I suspect my dwarf angelfish and filefish may be nipping at the corals.

I also explore whether fast-growing Caulerpa algae is releasing chemicals that might be harming the coral. Recently, I added Vanderbilt chromis fish, mini tube worms, and some new macroalgae species, which are all settling in well.

I'm considering shifting the tank toward a soft coral-focused reef setup, which fits better with my high-nutrient system. You’ll notice a major upgrade in video quality thanks to my new professional camera setup. Capturing natural behavior without disturbing the fish has been a game changer.
