GIRAFA
As girafas são mamíferos nativos do continente africano. Algumas das características mais marcantes desses animais é a sua altura e o seu padrão de coloração, com manchas marrons características. São animais herbívoros (só se alimentam de vegetais) que apresentam como um de seus alimentos preferidos as plantas conhecidas como acácias. Geralmente as fêmeas dão à luz um único filhote.
Atualmente essa espécie é classificada como vulnerável pela Lista Vermelha de Espécies Ameaçadas da IUCN, e a tendência populacional é a redução do número de indivíduos. A perda de habitat e a caça ilegal são algumas das ameaças a esses animais."

GIRAFFE
Giraffes are mammals native to the African continent. Some of the most striking features of these animals is their height and color pattern, with characteristic brown spots. They are herbivorous animals (they only feed on vegetables) that have as one of their favorite foods the plants known as acacias. Females usually give birth to a single calf.
Currently, this species is classified as vulnerable by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, and the population trend is to reduce the number of individuals. Habitat loss and illegal hunting are some of the threats to these animals."
