Why do my Aquariums Keep Growing Algae?!?

Growing algae instead of healthy plants really stinks. I'm still trying to figure out the right balance for my two 60cm(15gal) aquariums. Also been feeling demotivated lately and I think it may be a slight feeling of burnout. I'm not sure. I love this hobby though and we'll get through it!
