A microscopic view of the gunk in your natural aquarium

Hidden in the mulm and amongst roots of duckweed is a vast world of microscopic organisms.
In this video we collect samples from our fish breeding barrel system to look at under the microscope. You will be amazed at the tiny organisms living out of sight in your natural aquarium.
These organisms are a food source for other inhabitants of your aquarium but more importantly are responsible for breaking down dead, decaying organic material. This breakdown process is vital for a thriving healthy ecosystem. The more diverse this population of microfauna you have, the more complete the "decomposing" cycle is.
