Today we join EcoTraining Instructor Richard Davis as he talks about World Migratory Bird Day!

Migrating birds cover vast distances between us and different continents. We are focussing on water and wetlands and the importance of these habitats for all these migrating birds.

Why do birds migrate?
Importantly, because of the change in season. Generally, birds find most of their food during the summer months. Many birds follow the summer season and track the food source.
