Shy ALBINO CORYDORAS ??? | EP4 BLACKWATER AQUARIUM

In this video I added 7 Albino Corydoras catfish to low tech shallow Blackwater aquarium. Initially they were very shy (as always when new fish is introduced into the new environment). They were hiding below leaf litter. This is just a proof of how much fish appreciates naturally scaped tank. Their shyness didn't last long. In few hours they were swimming all over the place. Due to the fact I didn't vacuum substrate in 5 weeks (since aquarium was established), Corydoras were stirring all the mulm on the bottom and moving it up into the water column. I decided to vacuum just part of the substrate, and leave some mulm on the bottom. As aquarium matures and Corydoras spend more time inside the aquarium this will reduce.
