Sighting of a White Rhino and Zebras in the Kruger National Park was an incredible experience!

The White Rhino is one of the "Big Five" game animals, and is the second-largest land mammal after the elephant. They are characterized by their large size, thick skin, and distinctive square-shaped mouth. They are herbivores and graze on grasses, leaves, and branches. White Rhinos are usually found in groups, or "crashes," and can often be seen wallowing in mud to cool down during hot days.
Poaching and illegal trade of rhino horn has increased sharply since 2007 and remains one of the major reasons rhino are still endangered today.
