Creating an AXOLOTL aquascape for our FOUR underwater salamanders

It's that time of year again where we need to bring our axolotls in from their summer residence in the much cooler garage and bring them inside for the winter where they can stay a little warmer. This is the first time our axolotls have appeared on the channel, even though we've had two of them for over seven years.

I got Katie to help me aquascape this new 354 litre aquarium, as the axolotls are more hers than mine. The aquarium came out really well and the little dudes are loving it! I cannot wait to see it grow in... as long as they leave all the plants alone for long enough for them to actually root!
