Angelfish

Here, amongst the bustling coral city of Nusa Penida, we find a creature of remarkable beauty and fascinating transformation - the Semicircle Angelfish. In its youth, it is a creature of midnight blue, adorned with shimmering rings of white and azure. But as it matures, a remarkable metamorphosis takes place. The dark hues give way to a vibrant golden yellow, each scale outlined in the finest of blue. And upon its back, a distinctive saddle of black and blue emerges, a mark of its adulthood.
This angelfish is a diligent gardener of the reef, delicately plucking at sponges and algae, ensuring the corals remain unencumbered. Indeed, it plays a vital role in maintaining the delicate balance of this underwater realm.

And as we watch this exquisite creature gliding through its coral domain, we are reminded that the reefs of Nusa Penida teem with a multitude of angelfish, each a wonder of evolution, painted in a dazzling array of colours and patterns.
