An amendment to the Lacey Act will make transporting most reptiles, amphibians and other animals across any state line illegal. Whether you're moving or just trying to find a vet, it's got just a couple steps to go before you'd be breaking the law. Although it's ultimately out of our hands, you can try and respectfully persuade your state's Senators to reconsider.

Choose your State.
Click “Contact” under a Senator’s name.
Fill out the contact form and do the same for the second Senator.
