The Organo-MS test will measure and report, beneficial or excess Vitamins & Amino Acid profiles in the Aquarium water, to ensure future adaption of an adequate Amino Acid dosing or can help to identify excess Amino Acids as those are the main food and carbohydrate sources for many harmful pathogenic bacteria for the aquarium, it's livestock and human.

Another groundbreaking measurement is the detection for many harmful Medication, Antibiotics, Dewormer, Pesticides, Herbicides etc. which will allow to detect these to ensure removal via CAC or other remediation strategies. As well it would allow controlled application and monitoring of intended medical substances as Coral and Aquarium diseases are on the rise since many years now, and at some point it's very difficult to identify if the Corals are dying from harmful medication exposure in excess ranges or from a still active bacteria.

The Organo-MS will also measure many other unwanted substances that do can be the root cause for unhealthy corals. The Database of compounds is at around 50,000 substances, and Reef Moonshiner's/Oceamo is eagerly working on to further increase the Database and add problematic or beneficial substances into the Database for the Testing.

The test is also capable to detect many federal controlled substances, human medications that are transferred transdermal from the Hobbyist into the water, biological toxins such as Palytoxin and other Coral originated substances, very volatile military chemical weapon residues, aerial sprayed insecticides residues, compounds out of mosquito and insect repellents for human, human sexual replacement hormones transdermal released into the water ........ and the list of substances is getting longer.

The Organo-MS test results do offer links to the found or detected substances to help to find the potential source and hazard or danger. These links are being added and expanded as this test matures.

The Test results are divided in 2 sections.
Section A is the "Targeted Screening" where a defined list of substances are tested for and shown in the report for review.

Section B is the "Non-Targeted Screening" This is the more interesting portion of the test where only substances are going to be added, that have been detected and been identified from the about 50,000 compounds large Database which is expanded as the laboratory finds new and more concerning substances in water samples.
This means if no concerning substances have been found, this section is empty or very little compounds are shown.

If a substance is reported in the test results with a concentration such as as ug/l, that means this substance is even quantified in the Database with a refence solution that was implemented into the Database.
Compounds that have not been able to be quantified, then only a "count" of these organic molecules is shown, that "count" can be used to compare the substance concentration to other tanks where this may be found.

This test and the quantification and detection of more substances will be increased steadily and Database will be expanded as problematic substances are found useful to be tested.
