How to Set up a Small Saltwater Tank

In this video I’m joined by my friend Cam who is very experienced with saltwater tanks. He helps me set up a small 20 gallon saltwater starter tank. We walk through everything you need to have and how to set it up from scratch. We show how to mix saltwater for your tank, how to test the water to make sure it’s safe to add fish, show how to use a refractometer to test the salinity in the water. Then I show how to acclimate fish to the tank once it’s ready. Towards the end of the video I show off my new fish in their tank and show off a new saltwater tank that I added to my pet store.
