Coral reef, Japan. Diver found baby pufferfish - size of a marble, drifting alone. Big golden eyes. Round belly. Looked helpless. Wasn't. Even that small, it had beak-like teeth strong enough to crack shells. Born with defense mechanism - puff when scared. But puffing costs energy, stresses tiny heart. Diver watched it nibble coral, learning to survive. Aquarium biologist Rosa studies them: "Their teeth never stop growing. If they don't chew, teeth pierce their own jaw".
