The introduction of the first frags to a frag tank is an exciting time. As we continue our journey of building and using our frag tank, we're at a huge milestone! In earlier episodes we built the frag tank, cycled it using a fishless cycle, and acclimated some freshwater mollies to salt.
To test out our system, we are starting with some hardy corals such as zoanthids (zoas) and green star polyps (GSP). Check out our YouTube page for videos on how we fragged our GSP and zoas.
Moving corals from our display tank to frag tank was easy as the system are fairly close in parameters. When introducing new corals to the system, remember to acclimate and dip!
