Add AIR PLANTS To Your Aquarium ???? #shorts

If you have any hardscape that extends out of your aquarium and you’re looking to add a finishing touch to it, Air Plants make for an exciting addition. These plants are epiphytes and can be attached to your hardscape with cyanoacrylate glue. They can also be tucked into some nooks and crannies depending on how your hardscape is set up.

Air Plants absorb water and nutrients from the air through scales on their leaves. They’re easy to care for and don’t need much light to thrive. Once a week you can mist them or if you can remove them from your hardscape, place them in a bowl of water for 30 minutes and then allow them to dry. Do not keep them wet at all times as it will cause them to rot and die.

Air Plants have been found to purify the air you breathe. Some of these plants have been known to remove mild airborne contaminants and chemicals from the air.
