Happy Labor Day everyone !!! The incredibly beautiful Cattle Egret !! To me the subtle contrast of the orange feathers and beak against the white feathers makes this one of the most beautiful egrets ????They look very similar to snowy egrets but they prefer to forage in the grass looking for insects ???? vs snowy egrets hunt mostly smaller fish . They will also usually follow grazing animals…which is where the name cattle egret came from ????
