No water changes for a year on saltwater tank - Journey to a GREAT saltwater aquarium

No water changes for a year. Saltwater tank update on the 125 gallon saltwater aquarium. I have not done water changes in a year and my levels have suffered because of it. Salinity was 1.018 because it was saltwater fish only. 1.018 salinity for saltwater fish only aquarium is great because the water has more oxygen. Now that I will be adding coral to the tank, I will be raising salinity to 1.024 or 1.026. My nitrate levels are around 25 and magnesium is really low, around 1050 when it should be 1500. Alkalinity is high, around 12 and this will also be fixed with weekly 10% water changes. I have 2 new power heads in the tank for better flow and a 2nd sump which adds 15 more gallons of water. I plan on getting a new sump for the other side, replacing my original Eshopps sump. The plan is to have 2 Eshopps fusion flow sumps for plenty of mechanical filtration. I have not used sump socks in 5 years for many reason. I will also be adding more copepods to the aquarium.
