You’ve probably seen those viral videos where capybaras chill right on top of crocodiles or hang out peacefully among dozens of them.
Some people think it’s because capybaras are just super friendly animals that get along with everyone — even crocodiles.
But that’s not true.
So how come capybaras don’t get hurt?
What we’re really seeing in those videos is that the crocodiles have already eaten recently, so they’re not hungry.
