How we built a Discus aquarium in my old fish shop! 3 months of highs and lows!

What started as two friends building a discus aquarium at the fish shop ended up being the last tank we’d ever create together there. Martin and I had a great time picking out the wood, rocks, and aquarium plants. Some of those plants thrived, others not so much.

We stocked the tank with Tetras, Corydoras, Plecos, and of course, the stars of the show: Discus!

Just as we finished, news broke that Martin would be leaving the shop for new opportunities, and Sheryll would be stepping in. She’s been doing an incredible job ever since.

I still blame Martin for the beard algae... but thankfully, the new additions to the tank should help keep it under control.

This aquascape wasn’t just about fish it was about memories, friendship, and change. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy seeing how it all came together.
