Hey guys, it is a beautiful spring day but no birds in the aviary. The reason is because of the bird flu is in Saskatchewan and we are worried about wild birds that are migrating right now to Saskatchewan. The avian flu is spread by birds bringing it to areas otherwise not affected. The last time it was detected here was in 2007. So we want to try and protect our rescued crows and magpies the best we can by putting a tarp over there aviary and to sanitize everything that goes in the aviary.
