The warm spring weather has gotten many of the Arizona Rattlesnakes, Gila Monsters, and many other reptiles to come out of their winter dens! The animals are very active and the snake hotline is officially BUSY!

Marissa has a particularly exciting day catching a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake in an Ahwatukee backyard, finding Chuckwallas in the desert, and getting her favorite kind of call - a Gila Monster in a Scottsdale Backyard! Remember, Gila Monsters are a protected species in Arizona. However Rattlesnake Solutions has the proper permits from the Arizona Game and Fish Department to briefly handle and relocate these animals.

Bryan also explores the Arizona Sonoran Desert to check up on some Western Diamondback Rattlesnake dens to see if he can observe and take note of cool behaviors such as combat, breeding, and courtship. What he found was not what he expected.
